BMW 7 Series G11

Currently in its 100th year, BMW remains one of the most popular carmakers on the planet. Today we are going to take a look at one of the brand’s most recent models, the 7 Series G11.

Introduced in 2015, the G11 went into production following an appearance at the 2015 International Motor Show. Officially launched at the Auto Expo in Delhi, India, the vehicle went on sale in October of that year.

The full-size luxury saloon looks quite fresh and, although it’s not the most incredible-looking vehicle ever made, it looks appealing enough to serve its purpose.

Luxury plays a big role throughout the car, with the exterior as well as the interior, reinforcing the theme.

The vehicle comes equipped with a great number of fascinating and innovative features, ones that BMW has become renowned for.

Touchscreens, voice commands and gesture control are all present, therefore customers can enjoy a variety of intriguing features that make the vehicle a lot more fun to drive.

On top of that, a number of driver assistance systems help elevate the G11 to another level.  Some of the BMW Series 7 features have been reworked to work autonomously, which seems to be a popular trend with manufacturers at the moment.

The vehicle isn’t the most powerful, however it comes with a variety of different engine options, depending on which model you are after.

For example, the base model, comes with a 3.0-litre twin-scroll turbocharged l6 engine capable of producing 261hp.

Later this year, the G11 will become available with a hybrid powertrain, as part of BMW’s strategy of introducing more plug-in variants on its future models.

The car proved quite popular with customers, however it’s still rather new considering it only went on sale around 6 months ago. We’ll have to wait another 6 months to find out how well the vehicle did in its first year as a whole.
