Design and technical details for BMW 4 series Gran Coupe
It’s rather incredible to see that even after close to 100 years after it was founded, BMW is still producing new vehicles. Not just vehicles, but fantastic examples of car manufacturing done right. BMW is still going strong and remains one of the most recognised brands on the planet.
One of the brand’s latest vehicles is the BMW 4 Series. It was officially launched in 2014 having previously made its debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.
The 4 series borrows heavily from the 3 Series F30 as the two share a lot of technical features.
The main reason why the 4 Series was created was to gradually replace the 3 Series.
The F32 coupe was the first to be unveiled followed by the F33 convertible. The F33 replaced the BMW E93 3 Series Convertible however it’s much larger than its predecessor.
In 2014, the F83 Convertible was introduced. It included a powerful twin turbo six-cylinder in-line engine.
The Gran Coupe was officially launched in 2014 having appeared at the Geneva Motor Show earlier that year. It’s a coupe with 4 doors, similar to the Series 3 GT. Although it looks pretty standard, it’s also rather elegant.
Overall, the BMW 4 Series looks very promising. If you are looking for reliable, elegant-looking vehicles, the Series 4 will definitely meet your expectations.
